Last post here just of me doing what I like to do - give the peace sign. Not exactly sure what point this was, but I assure you Coach Misty was just a bit in front - I was being a Taramahara and trailing her! Doesn't look all that hard of running, but that damn marathon is one tough one to do, but oh so sweet when you finish and get something to eat and get to stand by the blazing-hot fire in the ole CCC shelter. Life is good!

Tecumseh 2009 - Coach Misty 2
Tecumseh 2009 - Coach Misty
FYI - that's Coach Misty up one of the infamous big-hills at Tecumseh. It's a bit blurry, but then again I am trying to do photography on the run! Judging by the other runners she is following that mantra of hers to run "even-effort" on the hills, so those others are maybe expending way too much precious energy on that asecent? Didn't take notes on their bib numbers, so have no way of telling where they finished, but I doubt they were ahead of Coach M.

Tecumseh 2009
FYI,
Pic of frog in not-so-good-form at the finish line at Tecumseh Trail Maration in 4:29-something, 30 or so seconds behind Coach Misty. I wish I would have recognized she was so close because I would have made an effort to trounce it right behind her.....whatever!
The photographer there at the finish gets my rathe in the sense I approached that line in great form, head-up, both hands in the air with the V or peace-sign, whichever you prefer, and she missed that moment, as well as capturing the time clock in the background. And they call themselves professionals with friggin digital cameras? Oh well, it is the best I can do. Will post a few others of the Coach later on!
